A state-of-the-art rare earth processing plant was inaugurated in Perak today. The facility uses "green-processing" technology developed locally to minimize environmental impact, a first for the industry in Southeast Asia.
The plant is expected to position Malaysia as a key player in the global semiconductor supply chain, reducing reliance on exports from a single dominant market. It is projected to create over 2,000 high-skilled jobs for locals.
