Maybank has announced a new policy, effective July 31, 2024, introducing a 12-hour cooling-off period for any increase in money transfer limits on the Maybank2U site. This measure aims to curb online banking fraud and prevent attempts to raise transaction limits fraudulently.

To access this money transfer limit feature, navigate to Settings > Pay & Transfer > Transfer Limit on Maybank2U. The cooling-off period will apply to every transaction on both the Maybank2U site and the MAE application. During this period, the transaction limit will remain at the existing level until the 12 hours have passed. Maybank will send a notification alert once the cooling-off period
